Genesis

For years, the mainstream Christian establishment has told us that all races come from Adam and Eve. They tell us that all the people of the world are in fact descendants from Adam. But is this truly what the scriptures indicate, let us find out.

In Genesis chapter 1 verse 26, the “sixth day” of God’s creation we read: “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Keep in mind that verse 26 clearly states THEM which indicates more than one man or race. Then in the next verse 27, it states: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Remember Adam has not been created as of yet.

Now in Genesis chapter 2 verse 5 it appears God was not fully satisfied with the male and female he had already created and goes on to describe what kind of man he is looking to create.

Verse 5: “And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.”

It is apparent that God was looking for a farmer to till the ground because his earlier creation of man were simply hunters and gatherers. So now on the “seventh day” of God’s creation, God creates Adam, which is much more than a farmer compared to God's first male and female creations as we read in Genesis chapter 2 verse 7.

Verse 7: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Adam was a living soul and immortal, that is, as long as he followed God's instructions. As we read in Genesis chapter 2 verses 16-17.

Verse 16: “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.”

Verse 17: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

God made Adam immortal, but he warns Adam that his immortality will be taken away and Adam like all of us mortals will eventually surely die.

Now let us move on to the creation of Eve. God had already created male and female earlier, but in Genesis chapter 2 verses 18, 20-22 God states that he is planning to create a woman for Adam.

Verse 18: “And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.”

The word meet in verse 18 is #5828 from #5826 in the Strong’s Concordance and means, to succour. The word succour in Webster’s dictionary is a spelling variant from the word succor, which means one that helps or provides assistance.

Verse 20: “And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; But for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.”

Verse 21: “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: And he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof.”

Verse 22: “And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

Let me make one thing perfectly clear, since God had already created males and females, he could have picked a female mate for Adam, but Adam was a different creation. It is obvious that he decided that the females of his earlier creation were not suitable, so he created Eve which is in line with God's standard for his creation pattern of “kind after kind” in the book of Genesis.

Is there more evidence of pre-adamic races in the garden of Eden, yes. In the book of Ezekiel Chapter 31 beginning with verses 3-9, God uses symbolism to describe the pre-adamic races of his creation that were also in the garden of Eden.

Verse 3: “Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.”

Verse 4: “The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.”

Verse 5: “Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.”

Verse 6: “All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beast of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.”

Verse 7: “Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.”

Verse 8: “The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.”

Verse 9: “I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.”

One must understand that when reading the scriptures concerning trees you must discern between which kind of trees are being discussed.

One is a tree made of wood which bears food and the other is a family tree, or racial tree. Ezekiel chapter 31 verses 3-9 makes it clear that the trees in the garden of God in Eden were family trees of races and nations. Remember what God told Adam in Genesis chapter 2 verses 16-17

Verse 16: “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.”

Verse 17: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

Use your God given common sense people, no tree in any forest has any knowledge or experience of either good or evil.

Verse 16 is talking about trees which bear food and verse 17 is talking about a family tree of races and nations.

While we are on the subject about using our God given common sense, how about Cain? As you know Cain killed Abel and was driven out of the land by God. In Genesis chapter 4 verse 14, Cain cries out to God about his punishment.

Verse 14: “Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that everyone that findeth me shall slay me.”

Come on now, if Adam and Eve are the first and only male and female at this time how could Cain say that everyone that finds him will want to kill him. Ask yourself, who are these people that will kill him.

Let's now read Genesis chapter 4 verses 16-17.

Verse 16: “And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.”

Verse 17: “And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.”

So now we are told that Cain found a wife, had a child, and built a city. Wow, where in the world do you think all these people came from. Well, I think I have made my case. There is more than enough evidence in the bible to prove that all the different races of the world did not come from Adam and Eve.

Is there any scientific evidence from archaeology and anthropology that proves my conclusions from the bible about other male and female creations of God other than Adam and Eve?

Archaeology, which is a systematic recovery and examination of material evidence, of graves, buildings, tools, and pottery remaining from past human life and culture.

Anthropology is a scientific study of the origin and the physical, social, and cultural development and behavior of humans.

Scientific research on race from both archaeology and anthropology has concluded there were three original races, Mongoloids, Negroids and Caucasoids.

Webster's dictionary describes these three major ethnic groups as follows.

Mongoloid is a description relating to or designating a major ethnic division of the human species whose members have yellowish-brown pigmentation, coarse straight black hair, and dark eyes.

Negroid, is a description relating to or designating a major ethnic division of the human species whose members are marked by dark brown to black pigmentation, dark eyes, and black curly hair.

Caucasoid, is a description relating to or designating a major ethnic division of the human species having certain distinctive physical characteristics such as, multiple eye colors, variety of hair color and hair ranging from straight to wavy or curly, skin color varying from very white to light bronze.

Research proves that the Mongoloid and Negroid ethnic division of the human species are the oldest of the three, and the Caucasoid or Caucasian being the youngest.

Research also supports the fact that the most ancient of man lived a hunter and gatherer lifestyle.

There is also evidence that show that in just the last few thousand years that man started to produce his own food, farming.

All of this scientific evidence compliments God's timeline on man's creation in Genesis.

The question at the beginning of this chapter was simply, “did all races come from Adam and Eve”, the answer is NO.
