Line Item Veto

I know, you're probably thinking "What a weird title." First, let me give you a definition for a line-item veto. It's a special form of veto power that authorizes a chief executive to reject particular provisions of a bill without vetoing the entire bill.

So why am I using it? Because this is exactly what Christians are doing to the scriptures from our heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ in the bible. What kind of a delusion would one have to have to believe that they somehow have the power of line-item veto in the scriptures, so that they can accept some verses or use their line-item veto to reject those verses in which they disagree with or prefer to just ignore.

There are at least three reasons that come to mind of why these so-called Christians would practice such irresponsible behavior toward God's word. One reason would be ignorance, they simply have not read the bible and are relying on lying preachers to tell them what the scriptures actually say.

A second reason would be their fear of being shunned or attacked by the politically and religiously correct. And finally, they are Christians in name only.

They do not care to read God's word, they do not plan to ever attend any church, they will however wear a cross around their neck and call themselves Christians and go along with whatever they are told is Christian doctrine by the antichrist media and the lying socially and religiously correct churches across America.

Let me refresh your memory with some examples of how most Christians are using their line-item veto to reject and or ignore the truth of God's word expressed in his scriptures. In the subject, “Genesis”, the scriptures easily debunked the fairy tale story of all races coming from Adam and Eve. The scriptures also showed that after Cain killed Abel, he took a wife and built a city.

Yet most Christians will take out their pen and draw a line through these scriptures to reject and ignore the truth.

In the subject of “The Original Sin” the scriptures prove that the original sin in the garden of Eden was in fact Eve violating God's law of kind after kind, which is race mixing, and race mixing leads to interracial offspring. In the subject of “Be Yea Separate”, I showed that if you take the word bastard back to its original language its true meaning is a child born of mixed parents, a mongrel, not a child born out of wedlock.

In the subject of “Be Yea Separate”, it was clear on what God's law is against sexual perversion. In the subject of “The Seed of Satan”, the scriptures clearly prove the physical existence of Satan and his offspring.

Also, in the subject of “The Seed of Satan”, Jesus Christ himself identifies these Jew impostors as being of their father the devil. Still again most Christians take out their line-item veto pen and cover up and ignore all this evidence.

The fact is these same Christians proclaim their faith in Jesus Christ, but at the same time they think they have the right to disagree, reject, deny, and ignore the truth of God's word in the bible, but they do not! To reject the true meaning of God's word is to reject God himself. To reject the true meaning of the words of Christ in the bible is to reject Christ.

When I think about their acceptance of faith, but denial of the true meaning of the scriptures it puts me in mind of certain verses in the bible about faith and works. Before we get into these scriptures keep in mind that the word faith which is #4102 in Strong’s Concordance Greek dictionary means, conviction of religious truth, the truthfulness of God, reliance upon Christ for salvation and truth itself. Now the word works in the Strong’s Greek dictionary is #2041 and means, an effort or occupation, an act, deed, or work.

It is not always easy holding true to one’s faith today, and its even harder exercising one’s faith and works in carrying out God's true instructions as described in the scriptures.

Most preachers now just preach what I call, the watered-down version of the bible so not to anger or offend anyone that might be listening. Compromising the truth of God's word and that of his Son Jesus Christ is not and will never be acceptable to our heavenly Father and Christ our Savior.

Faith without works is dead, for true faith is evidence of works, as we will see in James chapter 2 verses 14, 17-18, 20, 22, 24 & 26.

Verse 14: “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him?”

Verse 17: “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

Verse 18: “Yea, a man may say, thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.”

Verse 20: “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”

Verse 22: “Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?”

Verse 24: “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”

Verse 26: “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

In Matthew chapter 16 verses 25-27 Jesus Christ himself warns us about compromising our faith and works.

Verse 25: “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

Verse 26: “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his on soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Verse 27: “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”

Christ also speaks of works in Revelation chapter 2 verses 2, 9&26.

Verse 2: “I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars.”

Verse 9: “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

Verse 26: “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.”

Works is also used in Revelation chapter 20 verses 12-13.

Verse 12: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were open: and another book was open, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”

Verse 13: “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”

These past several verses have one main theme and that is “faith without works is dead”. They also make it clear that “true faith is evidence of true works”. We cannot dilute the true meaning of the scriptures to make them more acceptable to the world as most Christian preachers do. As Christ pointed out in Revelation chapter 2 verse 2 in his message to the church of Ephesus, he saw the problem they were having with deceiving apostles/Christians and their false teachings/lies.

The scriptures warn us about false doctrine and lying preachers. Jesus Christ himself when asked by his disciples about the signs of the end time in Matthew 24 verses 4-5, 11 said.

Verse 4: “And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you.”

Verse 5: “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”

Verse 11: “And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.”

Now Paul in II Corinthians chapter 11 verses 3-4, 13-15 tell us of his fear about these false teachers.

Verse 3: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Verse 4: “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

Verse 13: “ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”

Verse 14: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Verse 15: “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.”

Now Peter also expresses his fear about false prophets and false teachers in II Peter chapter 2 verse 1: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

In Titus chapter 1 verses 14-16 Paul again shows his concern for false teachers.

Verse 14: “Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”

Verse 15: “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving is nothing pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”

Verse 16: “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

The final words from the bible on this subject that I will share with you comes from I Timothy chapter 4 verses 1-2.

Verse 1: “Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”

Verse 2: “Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”

This war to distort and destroy God's truth in the bible has been going on from the beginning and continues on to this very day. Satan's endless attack on the very fabric of true Christian doctrine is his attempt to lead astray God's people into violating the laws of God without even realizing it.

No one, and I mean no one, has the right to a line-item veto when it comes to God's word.
